Nature Museum
The Nature (Teva) Museum is housed in an ancient stone home near the German Colony in Jerusalem. The museum displays relate to the natural sciences, the environment and the human body. The most impressive exhibit is of the birds, mammals and reptiles of the Land in Israel at present and in the past. The museum features exhibits on earth sciences (geology), including a structure of the earth, Israel’s quarries, stones, land, and a special exhibit of precious stones. An entire wing of the museum is dedicated to the fascinating world of dinosaurs, displaying the evolution, eggs, footprints, teeth and bones of these primeval creatures. Another area in the museum deals with the human body and all of its systems. In addition, the museum offers changing exhibits and organizes activities for children
